Hello bloggers and I hope you are all well, it certainly is a lot colder and wetter the last few days. Christmas seems to be creeping up and will soon be upon us. Time just goes quicker or is it because I am getting older faster.  I know my aching body might agree!!!
Today I have made a Christmas card using 8x8 card. I printed onto glosscard an image from Joanna Sheen by Josephine Wall CD. The images are wonderful as the more you look the more you see all the different things going on in the background. They are really quite mystical.  For the front of the card I have used a piece of card  and made appetures to fit different images, a piece of acetate, and made it into a shaker card with some fine glitter and white flower soft.

I stamped some snowflakes and covered with white embossing powder.  I made a tag and stamped a sentiment out, and tied a red ribbon bow. I also added a holly leave from my garden and added some red berry cosmic shimmer glue. Hope you like it x

Hello Bloggers I hope all is well in your world.
Rather wet, dark. and rainy today I'm afraid, and I think we have more days like this to come. I know my pooch hates the rain and cannot stand his paws to be wet.

Today I have started on a christmas theme. I have altered a canvas firstly by using brushed corduroy distress ink and a touch of gold mica powder. I have added a pine cone, leaves and small pearls along the side and added string and bow. Next I have covered 4 mount board pieces with flitter glue and used gilding flakes over the top. I stamped out the letters NOEL onto heavy cardstock, and then put into the meltpot, I do love my meltpot, it is fab. I hope you like it and I am using this for the lovely Hels Sheridan's Sunday challenge Winter. Take care.x

You hold the key to my heart

Hello  and welcome. I have made a canvas and hope you like it.
I started by covering in white gesso, then used a couple of masks  with distress inks.  I added some white modelling paste and  mixed it with h20's in purple. I used a mask to add some texture . I used some Mr Huey sprays to add more colour.
Using a stamp from Tim H I stamped the verse out on tissue paper covering  the reverse with white acylic and stuck down with a pva. The heart was a die cut and sprayed with various paints, and I used a black piece of melt art on top. I distressed a couple of wooden embellishments sticking down with a
leaf underneath  To finish off I used a butterfly on a chrome chain and added a key and lock to finish.
I am using this for Hels Sheridan Sunday challenge of keys.
Take care x

Please do not disturb

Hello and welcome to you all. I hope you are all well and enjoying this spell of beautiful weather. I thought I would share a picture of my beautiful boy with you today. I had just stripped the bed off and who should decide he needs a sleep. He looked so comfortable I didn't have the heart to wake him up. What a little star. Take care til next time x

Rock and Roll

Hello and welcome to my blog. Time seems to be running away so fast lately, one minute it's Monday and you turn around and here comes the weekend again. I have added a  Wall Hanging this time to show you , just thought it would be a bit different and suitable for a man or teenager. Sorry this picture does not seem as clear as I thought it was.

I started with a chipboard rectangle, covered it with white gesso, and printed a design from a cd onto card. I then made another copy of the guitar , cut it out and used the melt pot, and  added over the original. I used a small canvas, covered it with a piece of music card  and used black soot distressing ink to age it. I also used glossy accents sepia over the top of canvas to age it. I used tumbled glass and black soot over main picture and added canvas using a glue gun.
I am entering this into the weekly challenge on the lovely Hels Sheridan blog
Thanks for looking.

Butterfly Wishes

Hello and I hope you are all well.
crafty friends. The weather has changed so much over the last few days and cooler days and nights are here. Would prefer it a bit warmer myself, even though autumn can be so beautiful.

The card I am sharing with you hopefully hangs on to the beautiful butterfly a bit longer.  The verse is a well known Irish Blessing and would suit many occasions.I hope you like it and it brings a little sunshine to you.

Friends

Hello and welcome to my little crafty world. I did intend to try and blog every week, however,  I was rather busy last week getting ready for a craft fair. Unfortunately it was cancelled the day before so very disappointing . Anyway onwards and upwards so they say, and I now have a number of things to share. This card is about friends and people who touch our lives.

I have used an 8x8 card and matted on a base card from Graphic 45 , great card stock and designs, I used spellbinders radiant  rectangles and die cut a base and two frames. I stamped image from Creative Expressions stamps, embossed in white, and matted on. I used Hunkydory acetate , pearls around edges, and a beautiful butterfly to finish.
I hope you like it.
